Deep Cleaning

Deep Cleaning

Before using your own or a rented full-size deep cleaning machine, vacuum thoroughly. Then, start the deep cleaning at the farthest point from the doorway that you plan to use to exit the room. Be careful not to overwet the carpet, and be sure to extract as much of the cleaning mixture from the carpet as possible. Wait for the carpet to dry before replacing furniture or walking on the carpet.
When using a deep cleaning formula, it is important to properly mix the formula with hot water (not boiling) and to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Testing the cleaning solution on a small, hidden area of the carpet, rug or upholstery before applying it to a highly visible area is recommended. Febreze Deep Cleaning formulas were developed to be safe for use on most carpets, rugs and upholstery but should not be used on products not intended for a water extraction method. For example, do not use on natural fiber oriental rugs (silk or wool), hand-loomed wool rugs or braided rugs.
A thorough, deep cleaning is recommended at the very least every six months to a year.
